The National Competition is where young skilled people, accompanied by their instructors, gather together to compete before the public in their respective skill areas and challenge themselves against demanding international standards. The experience and results of all the national competitions provide valuable feedback both to the individuals and to the Department of Technical Education on the level of skill competencies. The competitions are particularly useful in the promotion of Vocational and Technical Education in Brunei Darussalam.
